No, you don't have to. You can also decide on a device after the training. You can also complete the training without buying a device.

No, you do not need your own device to participate in the courses, but you are welcome to bring it along to the on-site training sessions. It is also possible to rent or buy an EEG amplifier as well as all accessories in the course through us or to be advised by us.

We recommend completing the training on-site, as personal interaction and practical exercises promote learning success. However, if participation on-site is not possible, we also offer a digital training option that also conveys all the important content. We generally conduct supervisions digitally, as this allows you to practice directly at home with your own equipment.

The training courses can be held in both German and English. For individual training courses, we are happy to accommodate your individual wishes; we currently only offer group training courses in German.

In a group training session, there will be a maximum of four of you. This way we can ensure that we can answer individual questions and that each person gets enough opportunities to practice.

We will continue to be at your side even after training and support you wherever we can. You are welcome to book supervision sessions with us and if you have any questions, contact our support team directly at academy @brainboost.de or call us directly at +49 89 18931244 if you have any urgent questions.

Anyone who has completed appropriate training or further education in neurofeedback can call themselves a neurofeedback trainer. There is no legal regulation that protects the term "trainer".

However, the neurofeedback trainer may not carry out any therapeutic activities unless he or she has the appropriate therapeutic qualifications.

In Germany, the term "therapist" is associated with medical and psychotherapeutic professions. To call yourself a neurofeedback therapist, you need a formal therapeutic qualification.

Our software is regularly updated and there are also new functions and new applications on a regular basis. We are constantly developing the BrainAssistant and are therefore happy to receive feedback that we can incorporate.

The Neurofeedback and qEEG Basic Course is a prerequisite for neurofeedback certification. For qEEG certification, the Neurofeedback and qEEG Basic Course or the qEEG Advanced Course, as well as working with at least an 8-channel EEG amplifier, are required.

In Germany, certification in neurofeedback or qEEG is not a legal requirement to work in this field. However, certification sets a professional standard and serves as proof of one's qualifications.

No, the decision to pursue certification in neurofeedback or qEEG can be made at any time. If supervision hours have already been completed, these may also be credited toward certification.

Yes, participants of the Neurofeedback and qEEG basic course or the qEEG advanced course at the brainboost Academy have the opportunity to obtain certification in these fields. This applies both to participation in individual training sessions and in group training sessions.
